Here is a Cat truck that was at the NW Diesel Instructors Conference in Mukilteo last Thursday and Friday.

I learned some things not to do, but we'll discuss them in class; not publicly.

When you are working with big stuff think about what it is you are doing.

How heavy might it be?

Will the hoist lift it?

Is there a scale for the hoist?

Remember to play a guessing game with parts so that you begin to get an idea what things weigh.

What have I learned this week? Well, I have learned that, as always, I plan to do too much. I think that we are going to zoom when that really does not happen.

I DO know that you are all making important strides in your learning. Electrical is not an easy subject, and you are all doing well.
