I finally got around to photographing this example of wear on a swash plate of a piston hydraulic pump that Keith brought in.
This type of wear is indicative system failure. This metal will show up in the hydraulic filter(s) and cutting them open is a valuable troubleshooting tool.

A New Quarter
Well here we are, winter quarter 2013.
