Cummins re-usability guidelines do not allow for use of crankshafts damaged in the radius area of the bearing journals.For size reference, the hole to the right of the photo is about 1/4" in diameter.Please comment on what you think below.
I would not use this because it is damaged in a critical area. Fixing the problem now would save a a lot of problems in the future.
It immediately reminds me of those injectors Bill pulled out with the underside of those coppers showing burn marks. Just a little damage can go a long ways.
