Title: Truck Service Technician I/II/III - 2nd Shift Department: Service Requisition Number: TRK 02-12 Date Posted: October 22, 2012 Location: Tukwila, WA

Duties: Diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy duty Class 8 trucks and trailers with minimum supervision. Preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, wheel seals, drivelines, steering, suspension, electrical troubleshooting and complete A/C work. Complete power train troubleshooting and repair; transmission replacement and electrical and wiring troubleshooting and repair. Plan and organize and control job costs. Accurately prepare service reports, time cards and required paperwork in an accurate and timely basis. Knowledge of diesel engine manuals and parts order systems preferred. Qualifications: Diesel engine diagnostic equipment and precision measuring equipment. Overhead cranes and rigging equipment. Diesel engine repair and diagnostic tooling. Tools of the trade, valid state drivers license. Basic PC skills. 3-5 years diesel tech certificate or equivalent. 3-5 years experience, repair work with brakes, electrical, air conditioning, maintenance on all makes of trucks. Diesel engine experience preferred. Have and maintain valid CDL license/certification preferred. Must be able to follow logical troubleshooting procedures. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to follow verbal instructions and must be able to meet physical requirements.
