Plan Ahead: Thermal Imaging Presentation June 10

I would like to exceed the attendance expectations for this presentation in June (see below). I believe that thermal imaging will be a tool that you will likely use in the future at your work place. Please put this on your calendar and we'll talk about it in class when we meet in April. Come with questions please.

Hello Everyone,

Tony Shockey from Fluke will be on our campus on Monday June 10, 2013 (this spring quarter) to present on infrared thermography.  This session will run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Settlemyer Hall, and will include live hands-on demonstrations of Fluke infrared imaging cameras.  Save this date on your calendars, and I will send a follow-up email in spring quarter just as a reminder.

This is the estimated student head-count list I have from each of you in response to my earlier inquiry:

Jeff Curtis (Diesel) = less than 10 likely, definitely less than 20 students

Jason Kefover (EMTECH) = 12 to 18 students

Dave Maricle (HVAC) = 12 to 15 students

Dave Jungkuntz (Maintenance) = 4 staffpersons

If your estimates happen to increase substantially from these numbers, let me know in advance so we can be sure to have enough seats set up.  I’ve requested enough seats to cover the highest number plus some extra.  Feel free to bring recording devices with you if you would like to video some of the demonstrations!
