Looking for an international experience here at BTC?
APPLY TO BE A HOST FAMILY FOR 2 WEEKS!!!
BTC is looking for students who would be interested in hosting students from Esbjerg, Denmark for two weeks (May 11-25). The students are taking a marine manufacturing program in at EUC Vest. During their visit they will spend most of their time with our Welding and Diesel programs on campus and will also be participating in the Welding Rodeo May 17 and 18. BTC student hosts are invited to participate in other activities planned during the visit (dinners/BBQs, industry tours, trips to Seattle, etc.) and specific activities will be planned soon.
Compensation:
- Hosts will be given $100 per week for each student they host. This money is to help with transportation and food costs.
Requirements:
- Ideally EUC Vest students will have their own room or sleeping space.
- BTC hosts are required to have their own vehicles and provide transportation to and from BTC during the week.
To apply:
- Please write a letter addressed to Meagan Bryson, EUC Vest Exchange Coordinator (mbryson@btc.ctc.edu), explaining why you feel you would be a good host. Please describe what you can provide as well as how you can gain from this experience.
- Please attach a photo of the space the EUC Vest student would sleep in your home.
- Please attach a map of where your home is located in relation to the BTC campus.
